According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Lagos Court lifted the injunction today paving the way for the public launch of the movie on Friday as planned. The injunction was issued by the judge last Friday following a suit by Canada-based Nigerian, Jude Idada. The injunction and a confiscation order that came with it had stopped the premiere of the film at IMAX Cinema in Lekki Lagos on 24 March, souring the party mood of the scores of guests at the three-legged event. Idada, while suing Omoni Oboli, claimed the movie was his intellectual property. In reply, she said the idea and the movie was hers 100 per cent.

Yesterday, reality star, Blac Chyna went on a Snapchat rant where she called out her first baby daddy Tyga and even accused him of being gay. According to TMZ, she was pissed off after she heard Tyga telling people that she wants to kiss and makeup and probably start a relationship with him. The bird allegedly was flying when it got electrocuted and fell. A little boy ran to pick up the bird but it transformed into an old woman. 41-year-old Mario Perivoitos has died after being attacked at home by his Staffordshire bull terrier in front of a BBC documentary crew. He was being interviewed by BBC for a documentary believed to be about drug use when the attack happened on Monday, March 20th... Mario was a computer expert and had two masters degree but got involved with the wrong crowd after the death of his father in 2007 and got worse after his mother, who was suffering dementia, went into a care home last year. He started using drugs heavily and had rowdy drug users over often and this led to his house being sealed by the police for a period from  February 22  till  May 21 . The closure order prohibited anyone except him from coming into the house, which is why when he was screaming for help, no one could get into the locked house to help and when the police came they had to use a crowbar to forcefully open the door. Kelly Rowland is currently in Sydney, Australia, filming The Voice Australia. According to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on  April 6 and 7, 2017 . It would be the first meeting between the two men, in what has been described as the most important bilateral relationship in the world. The comes amid heightened tensions in Asia. Trump has said in recent weeks that North Korea is one of the biggest security challenges he faces as president and has called on China to rein in Pyongyang, which US officials believe is preparing for another nuclear test.

Two weeks after his return from his 49-days month medical trip to the United Kingdom, President Buhari has reportedly cancelled his new medical trip to London for a checkup. According to Sahara Reporters, President Buhari was billed to travel to the UK this weekend for a medical checkup but has instructed his doctors to come to Nigeria instead to carry out the medical examination on him. President Buhari returned back to Nigeria on Friday March 10th. While addressing his cabinet immediately after his return, he said he would have to retun back to the UK for further medicl checkups.

The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun confirmed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday evening by Director of Information, Salisu Na’inna Dambatta. The statement read: “The approval was conveyed in a letter addressed to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Officer of DBN dated March 28, 2017. “The letter was signed by the Deputy Governor of the CBN in charge of Financial System Stability. “The approval was subject to meeting the minimum capital requirement of N100 billion and the reconstitution of the Board of the Bank and reviewing its organogram.” The finance minister added that DBN will have access to US$1.3bn (N396.5 billion) which has been jointly provided by the World Bank (WB), KfW (German Development Bank), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Agence Française de Development (French Development Agency). “The bank is also finalising agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB),” she said.
