73 year old American singer, Barry Manilow - Why it took long for me to come out as Gay

For many decades, legendary American singer, Barry Manilow kept his sexuality a secret for fear of how fans might react.
He married his longtime partner and manager, Garry Klef in a secret wedding in 2014 before coming out in 2015. In his recent interview with People's Magazine, Barry explained why it took him several years to come out.
“I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything. When they found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy. The reaction was so beautiful strangers commenting" he said.
