Mr. and Mrs. Imudia Uduehi, have welcomed a set of quintuplets - five girls. According to media practitioner, Lara Wise who shared their story online, the couple reside at Ikenna borehole in Abuja. The wife got pregnant shortly after their wedding and barely 8 months after she conceived naturally, doctors at the National hospital had to bring out her babies through C.S recently. Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has given a possible reason why the Federal Executive Council meeting did not hold Wednesday, April 19th. Speaking to state house correspondents this afternoon, Garba Shehu said: “The staff on the Council secretariat resumed on Tuesday after the Easter. There was no time to prepare and circulate memos to ministers. By practice, the ministers receive council memos two or three days ahead of meetings because they must read them and sometimes undertake research. It is not a rubber stamp council. So everyone must prepare themselves well for debates”. The Police Special Squad have arrested the administrator of Ijumu Local governmental area of Kogi State, Hon. Taofiq Isa, in connection with the failed assassination attempt on Senator Dino Melaye at his Kogi home on Saturday April 15th.  According to reports, Isa was arrested at about 1.30pm  in Lokoja, the state capital. He was arrested during his visit to the Commissioner for Education in the state, Sunday Tolorunleke. Dino had earlier accused the administrator of having a hand in the failed assassination attempt. Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu who confirmed Isa's arrest, said the command was working to arrest those believed to behind the failed assassination attempt. He noted that the command would arrest and investigate anyone suspected to be linked with the case.

The base situated on the northern ice cap is believed to be fully armed with nuclear-ready fighter jets and missile systems.Putin had overseen plans for the giant complex, which is painted in the colours of the Russian flag and built on Alexandra Land, an Island in Russia. In a recent statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, on Tuesday in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Ministries of Transport, Power, Works and Housing and the security agencies over the successful completion of work on the runway and re-opening of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time.  The President also lauded the efforts of Kaduna State Government, the contractor, Julius Berger, and others, on the successful completion of the airport project.  The President said that he looked forward to such display of inter-agency cooperation and efficiency in the operation of the entire Federal Government machinery. President Buhari also thanked Ethiopian Airlines for cooperating with the Nigerian Government during the period of the closure of Abuja airport, describing it as a good example of intra-African cooperation.
