Dele Ali to receive New Contract offer of £40m by Tottenham

The contract – a third in 16 months – would see the 21-year-old’s wages double, putting him on par with the club’s top earners.
Alli, who has netted 16 times from 31 league appearance so far this campaign, is attracting interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid andBarcelona, with Los Blancos reportedly prepared to break their £85.5m club transfer record to land the England international.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants the club, who currently sit just four points behind leaders Chelsea, to have a team to compete with the best in the world and Levy will move to keep the current squad together.
If Real do come calling, Levy is likely to demand a similar fee that saw Gareth Bale head to the Bernabeu.
Contract talks are also planned for Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Son Heung-min as part of the project, which involved a £750m new stadium.
